"After 1 day of serious, urgent and democratic work, the first Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, term 2025 - 2030, has completed all the contents and programs set out. This is the result of a responsible working spirit, the crystallization of the intelligence, belief and aspiration to rise up of the entire Party Committee. On behalf of the Presidium and the entire Congress, I would like to summarize some of the main results of the Congress, and emphasize some of the following contents and significance:
First of all, with a high sense of responsibility, the delegates attending the Congress focused on intelligence and democracy to discuss the results of implementing political tasks and Party building work in the 2020 - 2025 term; at the same time, reviewing the leadership and direction of the Party Committee. The Congress highly agreed and affirmed that the results achieved by the Party Committee in the recent term are of great significance, creating comprehensive changes in the field of Party building and leadership in implementing political tasks. The Congress also pointed out limitations and shortcomings, analyzed causes and drew practical lessons of practical significance; at the same time, focused on discussing and reaching high consensus on directions, goals, targets, main tasks and solutions to comprehensively implement in all fields. On that basis, the Congress identified 8 groups of tasks, solutions, and 3 breakthroughs for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Secondly, the Congress unanimously approved the Report on synthesizing opinions and giving comments on the draft documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party and the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions for the 2025-2030 term. That is the gathering of the intelligence, affection, and aspirations of cadres, party members, and the masses in the entire Party Committee; expressing the belief and expectation in the leadership of the Central Committee and the Party Committee at higher levels.
The Congress unanimously approved the Resolution of the First Party Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, term 2025 - 2030, expressing the determination of all cadres and party members to strive to successfully achieve the goal:
Building a clean and strong Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, truly a political core to lead the trade union system to successfully carry out assigned tasks. Strongly innovate the content and leadership methods of Party committees; improve staff capacity, modernize direction and management in a professional, effective, flexible manner, adapting to the requirements of the digital transformation period.
Promote the pioneering role of the Trade Union organization in building a modern and strong Vietnamese working class; represent, care for, and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers; arouse patriotism, self-reliance and aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country.
At today's Congress, there are 21 comrades participating in the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the General Confederation, 5 comrades participating in the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the General Confederation, term 2025 - 2030 and 25 official delegates, 3 delegates attending the General Confederation Party Committee's delegation to the Congress of the superior Party Committee, which was trusted by the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee and Central organizations to be appointed to the Congress, demonstrating inheritance, stability and development.
With the above results, we are pleased to report to all cadres and party members in the entire Party Committee: The first Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, term 2025 - 2030, has been a great success.

The Congress respectfully acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the members of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee in the recent past for the reason of not being re-elected to the new Executive Committee. The Congress wished you good health, continue to pay attention and contribute opinions to the new Executive Committee to successfully carry out the assigned tasks.
The Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the General Confederation of Labor wishes to do its utmost, unite, improve courage, intelligence, moral qualities, and determination together with all cadres and party members in the entire Party Committee to successfully implement the Resolution of the Congress.

The success of the first Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, term 2025 - 2030, marks the development of the Party Committee in the new period. Immediately after the Congress, it is recommended that departments and Party committees organize research, dissemination, and widespread propaganda to all cadres and Party members about the results of the Congress and the tasks set by the Congress; develop specific programs and plans to put the Congress Resolution into practical life, creating strong changes in all aspects of work.
The Congress called on cadres and party members to promote the spirit of Solidarity, Democracy, Innovation, Creativity, Development, enhance their responsibility and determination to strive to successfully implement the Resolution of the First Party Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, term 2025-2020, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the National Party Congress of the Fatherland Front, Central organizations and the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party; further enhancing the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the entire Party Committee, striving to excellently complete assigned political tasks, building a modern and strong working class, a strong and confident Vietnam Trade Union organization, and the whole nation to enter a new era.
