19 outstanding direct workers were admitted to the Party by the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) in coordination with the Party committees of some business branches in Ho Chi Minh City held at the Hang Duong Cemetery historical site, Con Dao on May 18.
This is one of the practical activities of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union organization to celebrate the 136th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026).
On behalf of the Party members admitted to the Party, Ms. Pham Thi Linh Phuong, an employee of Thai Binh Investment Joint Stock Company - emotionally said: "The moment of being sworn in under the Party flag in this historical land, a symbol of resilience, patriotism and noble sacrifice of generations of fathers and brothers, will be an unforgettable mark in my life. Being admitted to the Party in this sacred land is a great pride, and also reminds me of the responsibility of a young Party member today," Ms. Phuong emphasized.
Ms. Phuong also promised to always maintain the moral qualities and political bravery of a Party member of the Communist Party of Vietnam, constantly studying, training, living responsibly, honestly and wholeheartedly with the assigned work, always striving to dedicate her youth and intelligence to contribute to building a homeland and country that is increasingly rich, beautiful, and civilized.
Within the framework of the Party admission ceremony, a delegation of trade union officials, workers, and outstanding laborers of Ho Chi Minh City led by Mr. Vo Khac Thai - Standing Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate heroic martyrs, revolutionary soldiers and patriotic compatriots who sacrificed in the Con Dao special zone and implemented planting trees at Ho Quang Trung 2 Park.
On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation Agency coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Con Dao Special Zone to organize the program "Accompanying Friends" and presented 40 gifts (worth 800,000 VND/gift) to youth union members and children in difficult circumstances living, studying, and working in Con Dao special zone to share, encourage, and motivate friends and children to overcome difficulties and feel secure in studying and working.
This is the second time the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation has coordinated to organize Party admission for workers taking place at the Hang Duong Cemetery historical site, Con Dao. Previously, on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026), the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation coordinated to organize Party admission for 32 outstanding workers also taking place at the Hang Duong Cemetery historical site, Con Dao.
