Emulation results go hand in hand with the benefits of workers
Faced with the new development requirements of the country, the Vietnam Trade Union clearly recognizes its sacred mission and responsibility. One of the requirements that needs to be met is that the trade union must be pioneering and creative to accompany in improving labor productivity, the competitiveness of the economy and implementing national strategic goals; The Trade Union must strongly innovate to coordinate with employers to care for and support workers in terms of employment, income and improve their lives, building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations. This spirit is clearly shown in the innovation, organization, and implementation of emulation movements.
Immediately after the 14th Congress, the VGCL organized the Launching Ceremony of the emulation movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" in direct form combined with online connection to 51 bridge points of all provincial and city VGCLs, industry trade unions, trade unions of economic groups, general corporations directly under the VGCL and hundreds of bridge points nationwide.
This is not only a practical activity to celebrate the success of the congress but also to promptly concretize the content of the Resolution, soon bring the Resolution of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress into life, contributing to arousing the spirit of creativity, self-reliance, self-strengthening and responsibility of workers, creating motivation to improve productivity, improve income, welfare and working conditions. Thereby, harmonizing the interests between the State, businesses and workers, contributing to the rapid and sustainable development of the country.
Here, we can clearly see the qualitative innovation when shifting from the emulation movement "Good Labor, Creative Labor" to the emulation movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income". That is, both businesses and workers clearly see the benefits associated with efforts in good labor. Moreover, the launch of the emulation movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" is also associated with the "3 savings" campaign with the motto "Good Labor" as the foundation, "High Productivity" as the requirement, "Good Income" as the result to be aimed for. "3 savings" is the content of a new management method to increase value and improve the competitiveness of the economy.
Innovation to properly meet the needs of dedication of workers
After nearly 3 months of implementation, the emulation movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" has been welcomed by trade union levels and workers - a testament to the fact that innovation has met the needs of union members and workers.
At the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union, the content of high productivity emulation is concretized by innovation and digitization of emulation management. Accordingly, the industry trade union shifts its focus from promoting individual productivity to improving overall productivity through improving technology processes, rationalizing production and applying Lean, Kaizen, 5S.
At the grassroots level, build the model "Coreal Worker Network for Initiatives", establish Initiative Support Teams, Creative Workers Clubs at the grassroots level to discover new ideas, support workers in writing descriptions, completing procedures and providing funding for implementation.
