The tournament is organized to practically celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2).
At the same time, it creates a healthy and useful playground, contributing to improving cultural and spiritual life, practicing health, enhancing solidarity, exchanging and learning between cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in Lao Cai province.

Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat - Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Duong Tuan Nghia - Deputy Director of Lao Cai Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and representatives of agencies, units and enterprises with athletes participating in the tournament.
This year's tournament brings together 36 delegations with over 400 athletes who are officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers from agencies, units, and enterprises in the province, competing in 4 sports: Badminton, Table Tennis, Volleyball, and Pickleball.

Right after the opening ceremony on the evening of August 22, the matches took place with excitement and excitement, with a spirit of solidarity, honesty, nobility and determination to compete with all their might. The athletes not only gave the audience beautiful and dramatic football moves but also expressed their will, determination, and sportsmanship, contributing to spreading the health training movement among union members, civil servants, and workers in the whole province.
The tournament is scheduled to take place over two days, closing and awarding on August 23, 2025. This is one of the practical activities to respond to the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", while affirming the concern of all levels and sectors of Lao Cai province for the spiritual life of union members, workers, civil servants and laborers.
