On March 25, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Huyen has signed and issued a plan to implement Decision No. 2230/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on the Project on training and developing human resources for the railway industry to 2035, with orientations to 2045 in the province.
The plan aims to concretize the goals, tasks, and solutions of the Central Government, in accordance with local real conditions.
In which, the focus is on developing specialized and high-quality railway human resources, meeting high-speed railway projects, national electrification railways and urban railways.
The goal is to gradually master modern technology, improve management capacity, operation and participate in the railway industry's value chain.
The Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches, and training institutions to closely coordinate in training and fostering technical human resources, state management human resources, and project management.
In the period 2026–2031, the province focuses on reviewing institutions, preparing technical human resources, and improving the capacity of training institutions.
In the period 2031–2035, focus on training operating, exploitation, and maintenance personnel; improving state management capacity and receiving modern technology.
The province pays special attention to building a human resource team to serve the North-South high-speed railway project passing through the area.
Training is linked to practical needs, the labor market; strengthening cooperation between the State - School - Enterprise, expanding international cooperation to attract scholarships, and supporting the training of high-quality experts and engineers.
Training institutions will be assessed for capacity, invested in equipment, laboratories, and improved practical programs.
Project management human resource training focuses on in-depth knowledge of construction investment, bidding, supervision, and acceptance; and coordinates with operating units to train human resources for operation, maintenance, and project progress and technology.
The Provincial People's Committee also allocates funds from the state budget, railway projects, international support sources and other legal sources; and at the same time encourages socialization, mobilizing businesses to participate in training and developing human resources.
According to the plan, the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis section passing through Khanh Hoa province has a total length of about 191.8km. To serve site clearance, Khanh Hoa province plans to arrange 31 resettlement areas, including 13 existing areas and 18 newly built or expanded areas.
Currently, the Provincial People's Committee has assigned investors to implement compensation, support and resettlement for three component projects:
Component project 1: 66.16km (Dai Lanh commune - Nam Ninh Hoa commune), investor: Provincial Development Project Management Board.
Component project 2: 64.13km (Bac Nha Trang ward – Nam Cam Ranh commune), investor: Provincial Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Agricultural and Transport Works.
Component project 3: 61.47km (Cong Hai commune - Phuoc Ha commune), investor: Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board.
