On July 19, Ms. Tran Thi Huong, Vice President of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ), concurrently Head of the Industrial Park Trade Union Committee, said that in the first 6 months of the year, grassroots trade unions have admitted 1,251 new union members, and introduced 12 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration and training.
The Board also established many survey teams at enterprises without trade union organizations, and at the same time established 5 new grassroots trade unions, admitting an additional 522 union members at enterprises in the area.
Many programs to care for union members' lives were effectively implemented during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, Workers' Month... In total, more than 3,350 turns of union members and workers were supported with a budget of over 3 billion VND from the sources of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial Labor Federation and businesses and philanthropists.
In the work of representing and protecting workers' rights, the Board regularly monitors the implementation of regimes and policies at enterprises; records more than 50 opinions and recommendations from union members related to social housing, social security, vocational training and employment. Coordinate the implementation of collective labor agreements for groups for seafood processing enterprises in Suoi Dau Industrial Park...
Strengthen propaganda of the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws and apply digital transformation in trade union activities through online platforms.
Besides the achieved results, the Trade Union Board of Khanh Hoa Industrial Park also recognizes many difficulties such as the quality of operation of some grassroots trade unions is not uniform; the lives of a part of workers are still difficult; the need for housing support is still large; some units have not fully implemented the deduction and payment of trade union funds.
Implementing the work program for the last 6 months of 2026, Ms. Tran Thi Huong informed that, along with organizing good activities to care for workers, the Board focuses on developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) at enterprises inside and outside industrial parks (KCN), industrial clusters (CCN).
In which, continue to promote surveys of about 13 foreign-invested enterprises with more than 800 workers to propagate and mobilize the establishment of trade union organizations.
Organize activities to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union; prepare a dialogue program between the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and union members and workers.
At the same time, deploy activities to care for the Mid-Autumn Festival, support housing and develop a plan to care for the Dinh Mui Lunar New Year 2027.
