Lam Dong attracts more than 40,000 workers to participate in Workers' Month

On June 11, Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the unit had just summarized Workers' Month and Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene in 2025.

Mr. Hoang Lien - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor said that during this year's Workers' Month, trade unions at all levels organized many practical activities to care for workers.

The launching ceremony of Workers' Month and responding to the Month of Action on occupational safety and hygiene was held simultaneously at the provincial level and by grassroots trade unions. With the coordination of Party committees, authorities and businesses, it has created a widespread influence in the community.

The whole province has more than 700 grassroots trade unions organizing activities, attracting over 40,000 union members and workers to participate. Of which, there are 195 trade unions belonging to enterprises.

In addition, the work of developing union members and establishing trade union organizations is also focused on. In May 2025, Lam Dong newly established 6 non-state trade unions and grassroots trade unions, admitting nearly 500 union members.

During the Workers' Month 2025, Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor selected and commended 50 outstanding workers who are members of the Communist Party of Vietnam and outstanding workers in the emulation movement "Lam Dong workers follow Uncle Ho's words".

Along with that, the trade union coordinated with relevant sectors to organize 20 inspections and supervise the implementation of policies and regimes for workers.

Through inspection, violations were detected and recommended to be handled, and obstacles at the facility were promptly removed.

Thanks to these activities, the rights of workers are guaranteed and enhanced. The role of trade unions continues to be affirmed in building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
