On July 12, information from the Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor said that the unit had just held a conference to deploy trade union work after the merger of provinces at facility 2 (old Binh Thuan province).
The conference was held directly at the second facility and online to the following locations: Phu Quy, La Gi, Tuy Phong, Duc Linh.
Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor - Ms. Dang Thi Thanh Hoa chaired the conference informed about the merger situation and the establishment of the new Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor. At the same time, Ms. Hoa deployed union work tasks in the remaining time of 2025.
Ms. Hoa requested that grassroots trade unions urgently resolve the outstanding work in the process of transferring it to the Provincial Labor Federation; at the same time, proactively review the targets and tasks for the last 6 months of the year to ensure that the work is not interrupted or broken.
Union officials must strengthen their close ties to the grassroots, not leave work or areas missing, especially in industrial parks, industrial clusters and places with a large number of workers, Ms. Hoa emphasized.
Regarding the project to establish trade unions in communes, wards, and special zones in the province, Ms. Hoa said that it is expected that about 17 units will be established.
This is a new model in the trade union organization system, initially there will be many difficulties, especially in terms of operating mechanisms, coordination with Party committees, authorities and personnel arrangement.
However, Ms. Hoa affirmed that she was not discouraged by difficulties. Each union cadre needs to promote the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, responsibility and readiness to take on new tasks, for the goal of building a strong and comprehensive Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union organization.
With the spirit of taking advantage of both working and drawing experience, grassroots trade union officials need to make efforts to adapt and effectively operate the new model, Ms. Hoa emphasized.
