On July 8, Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor held a key conference of the Provincial Trade Union and the Trade Union Working Committee, deciding on many important contents and activities.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - chaired the conference. Also attending were Vice Presidents of the Labor Federation and Heads and Deputy Heads of the Trade Union Work Committee.
Delegates attending the conference discussed and gave opinions on the Project of the Provincial Federation of Labor on the establishment of trade unions in communes, wards and special zones. This is the basis for completing the project and submitting it to the Standing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee for approval.
An important content discussed and agreed upon at the conference was the draft assigning tasks to the Chairman and 6 Vice Chairmen of the Provincial Labor Federation.
Along with that, the conference also discussed and gave opinions on the draft assignment of tasks to the Head of the Committee, Deputy Heads of the Committee and members of the Trade Union Work Committee.
At this conference, the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union Working Committee also discussed and decided on important contents, specifically financial work, asset management, office work, etc.
In particular, the conference oriented key contents in trade union activities, such as: work to improve the organization at grassroots trade unions.
Assigning specific tasks to members is an important basis for implementing trade union activities immediately after the merger of the new Lam Dong province.
At the same time, ensure that trade union activities at the provincial and grassroots levels in Lam Dong province are smooth and uninterrupted; especially the role of trade unions in representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
