In the context of Lao Cai province promoting the transformation of growth models, development of the digital economy, green economy, and circular economy, trade unions at all levels have launched the movement "Good workers, creative workers", becoming a bright spot in the patriotic emulation movement.
The movement is implemented in conjunction with campaigns such as "Loyalty, responsibility, integrity, creativity", "Emulation to implement office culture"... Thereby, the team of cadres, civil servants, and public employees actively innovate thinking, improve processes, streamline administrative procedures, improve the efficiency of state management and the quality of service to the people.
In the field of education, the movement "Good workers, creative workers" associated with the campaigns "Innovation, creativity in teaching and learning", "Good teaching, good learning" has spread strongly. Hundreds of initiatives and solutions of the teaching staff have been recognized and applied in practice, contributing to improving the quality of education and training, building a positive and creative learning environment.
In the health sector, the emulation movement associated with implementing 12 medical ethics continues to show clear results. In the past 3 years, the whole industry has had over 400 initiatives recognized, helping to shorten treatment time, improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, bring billions of dong in economic value, and at the same time increase people's satisfaction.
In enterprises, the concretization of the movement "Good workers, creative workers" has aroused the enthusiastic spirit of labor, encouraged union members and workers to boldly propose initiatives, improve techniques, and apply scientific and technological advances in production.
Thereby, contributing to ensuring occupational safety and hygiene, improving productivity, product quality, reducing production costs, increasing profits for businesses and income for workers.
In the 2023-2025 period, Lao Cai Provincial Trade Unions at all levels recorded 2,521 grassroots initiatives, 75 provincial-level initiatives; 341 solutions to participate in the Provincial Technical Innovation Competition, including 95 solutions of union members who won prizes.
The whole province has 1,390 emulation projects and products with a total value of VND 18.7 billion. In particular, 11 individuals were awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 2 workers were honored to receive the Nguyen Duc Canh Award.
