Spreading Uncle Ho's thoughts to every worker
Mr. Phung Thai Quang - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - said that the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Union has achieved positive results in building the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space at all union levels, especially in FDI enterprises with a large number of workers.
On the basis of thoroughly understanding Ho Chi Minh's ideology and the Party's directives and resolutions, Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union has synchronously deployed many solutions to spread Uncle Ho's cultural and ideological values to each worker.
First of all, propaganda work has been promoted with diverse and creative forms such as exhibitions, seminars, and contests to learn about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, creating a wide spread. The Trade Union has coordinated with FDI enterprises to organize cultural activities, reading rooms and libraries, meeting the cultural needs and improving the spiritual life of workers. In particular, at FDI enterprises, the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union at all levels has successfully mobilized the Board of Directors to support facilities and space to build the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space.
Initiatives to build Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space models in boarding houses, industrial parks, and export processing zones have also been effectively implemented, creating a healthy environment, connecting workers with trade unions.
“For the Trade Union, the most profound thing is still to mobilize workers to create and maintain the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space, considering this a process of raising political awareness, class awareness, and traditional education. These results have contributed to raising political awareness, national pride, and at the same time creating consensus, promoting the endogenous strength of the working force in building and developing Ho Chi Minh City into a civilized - modern - humane urban area,” Mr. Quang shared.
