On December 28, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Lang Son province has just informed about the expected situation of Tet bonuses for workers on the occasion of New Year and Lunar New Year 2025 in the province.
Notably, in the northern border province, enterprises with state-owned shares and capital contributions are leading in the Lunar New Year 2025 bonus level with an average of 8 million VND/person, the highest is 19.9 million VND/person and the lowest is 5 million VND/person.
The average New Year bonus in this group of businesses is 600,000 VND/person, the highest is 1 million VND/person and the lowest is 500,000 VND/person.
For LLCs with 100% state capital, the highest New Year bonus is 2 million VND/person and the lowest is 200,000 VND/person.
The highest Lunar New Year bonus of this group of enterprises is 5 million VND/person and the lowest is 200,000 VND/person.
For private enterprises, the highest New Year bonus is 3 million VND and the lowest is 100,000 VND. The highest Lunar New Year bonus is 6 million VND and the lowest is 300,000 VND/person.
For foreign-invested enterprises, the highest Lunar New Year bonus is VND9 million/person and the lowest is VND2 million/person. However, these enterprises do not give New Year bonuses to employees.
This year's Tet bonus in Lang Son province is assessed to have many fluctuations depending on the type of business.
It is worth mentioning that the highest bonus is in the group of enterprises with controlling shares and capital contributions from the state, especially in the Lunar New Year bonus period.
Speaking to reporters, Mr. Dam Van Chinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Lang Son province said that up to now, in the province, there are 192 enterprises reporting salaries with nearly 6,000 employees.
According to preliminary statistics, the actual salary paid in 2024 is led by foreign-invested enterprises with 38 million VND/month and the lowest salary in this group is 4.3 million VND/month.
The group of LLCs with 100% state capital has the highest salary of 26.7 million/person/month and the lowest in this group is 3.8 million/person/month.
Enterprises with state-controlled shares and capital contributions have the highest salary of 20 million VND/person/month and the lowest of 5 million VND/person/month.
For private enterprises, the highest salary is 30 million VND/person/month and the lowest is 3.45 million VND/person/month.
Sharing with reporters, Ms. Dang Thi Quynh Huong - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Bao Long Company Limited (Cao Loc district, Lang Son province) said: "Although the production and business situation in 2024 also faced many difficulties, the preparation of Tet for workers and laborers was still carefully planned by this enterprise.
It is expected that the Tet bonus for workers this year will be the same as last year, about 3-4 million VND/person. In addition, the company also has gifts for workers with achievements or difficult circumstances."
The company currently has 120 workers, specializing in manufacturing water pumps and electric motors with an average salary of about 4-5 million VND/person.
