In the atmosphere towards the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2026), the Lang Son Provincial Labor Federation has just organized a program to meet female entrepreneurs, female grassroots trade union presidents, and heads of women's committees with a thematic exchange on the role of women and gender equality in modern society.
In particular, the program attracted more than 150 female delegates who are trade union officials, union members, and typical female entrepreneurs working, producing, and doing business in the province.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the tradition of International Women's Day March 8, associated with the history of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising - a symbol of resilience, independence and the great role of Vietnamese women throughout the nation's history.
In addition, the program also reviews the outstanding results in female labor activities and trade union movements in Lang Son province in the past time.
In many fields, from production, business, management to social activities, the team of female workers, civil servants, laborers and female entrepreneurs has been and is affirming their bravery and intelligence, making important contributions to the socio-economic development of the locality.


The highlight of the program is a thematic exchange on the role of women in the context of integration, with the participation of speakers and representatives of agency and business leaders.
Here, many opinions shared practical experiences in promoting women's leadership and management capacity; and at the same time sought ways to balance work responsibilities and maintain family happiness.
According to delegates, in the context of deep international integration, the requirements set for women are increasingly high.
Modern women not only need bravery and professional competence but also must know how to preserve family values, build a happy home, a sustainable foundation of society.
The program is also an opportunity for female entrepreneurs and trade union officials to exchange and share experiences in management, production, and business, while creating more connection between mass organizations and the business community in the province.
On this occasion, leaders of Lang Son province and the Provincial Labor Federation commended, honored and presented souvenirs to many outstanding female entrepreneurs, female trade union officials and union members.
Meeting and seminar activities on the occasion of March 8 are considered one of the practical activities of the trade union organization, showing concern and care for female union members, female officials, and female entrepreneurs.
