Professions with an income of 30 million VND/month often require professional qualifications, special skills or long-term experience.
Mr. Thanh said that one of the fields with many opportunities to reach an income of 30 million VND/month is information technology with positions such as programmers, software engineers, data experts or network security experts.
Many technology businesses, especially software development companies or technology service providers, are willing to pay high salaries to attract experienced personnel. For programmers with 3-5 years of experience, an income of about 30 million VND/month or even higher is not uncommon. However, to achieve this income level, employees must have a solid professional background, the ability to use programming languages proficiently, and constantly update new technology knowledge," Mr. Thanh said.
In addition to information technology, according to Ms. Bui Hoang Oanh - Human Resources Director of Nam A Technology Group (Ngoc Ha ward, Hanoi), along with the development of the digital economy, industries related to digital marketing, e-commerce and online content management are also having a large demand for human resources.
Positions such as online advertising campaign manager, search engine optimization expert, e-commerce platform manager or digital media manager can reach an income of 30 million VND/month if they have good experience and capacity. In many businesses, these positions play an important role in brand building and market development. Therefore, companies are willing to pay high salaries to personnel who are capable of building strategies and bringing business efficiency. However, this field also requires employees to have creative thinking, data analysis skills and understanding of technology platforms," Ms. Oanh said.
In addition to the 2 industries mentioned above, according to Mr. Le Quang Trung, former Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Employment, the position of engineer and technical expert can also reach an income of 30 million VND/month.
Mr. Trung said that in the field of engineering and manufacturing, the mechanical, electrical - electronic, automation or energy industries have high incomes. In particular, engineer positions with experience in system operation, project management or product research and development are often sought after by businesses.
In addition to engineering and technology industries, sales and business can also bring high income. Positions such as business group leaders, sales managers or sales specialists in real estate, insurance or technology equipment can reach an income of 30 million VND/month if they achieve good sales. In this group, the income of sales staff usually includes basic salary and commissions. When sales are high, total income can far exceed the average salary of the labor market.
Not for the majority
Although there are many occupations that can reach an income of 30 million VND/month, reality shows that this is still not a common salary level for most workers. The current labor market is still mainly concentrated in jobs with an income of 5–15 million VND/month.
