On March 14, Mr. Le Thanh Xuan - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of TKV Trade Union said that in 2025, the coordination between professional and trade union work in the Group will continue to be maintained closely and effectively in many fields. Propaganda and political and ideological education for officials, employees and laborers are widely deployed, associated with major political events of the country and the industry. The two sides also coordinate to build and improve many mechanisms and policies to improve the welfare of workers.
In which, the two sides signed a collective labor agreement for the period 2025-2028 with 12 points that are more beneficial for workers. The work of caring for workers' lives continues to be concerned with many practical activities such as organizing sightseeing and vacations for 82,900 workers with a budget of more than 554.6 billion VND, an increase of 19% compared to 2024; organizing nursing and treatment support for nearly 9,000 people.
The TKV Trade Union alone organized 2,500 workers for nursing and health recovery with a total budget of 4.25 billion VND; visited and supported over 35,400 turns of workers in difficult circumstances; supported the construction and repair of houses for 161 workers' families under the "Trade Union Shelter" program with a total budget of over 12.6 billion VND.
Tet care activities continue to be effectively implemented. At Ty Lunar New Year 2025, the "Miner Tet" program is organized in 6 regions with 1,650 workers participating; 288 bus trips to take over 9.5 thousand workers home for Tet and 275 bus trips to pick up over 8.6 thousand workers returning to work after the holiday.

On the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the Group and TKV Trade Union visited and presented gifts to over 14.1 thousand employees with a total budget of over 31.2 billion VND; and at the same time directed units to disburse Tet bonuses averaging about 10 million VND/person. Units in the Group have organized 644 bus trips to pick up and drop off more than 24.9 thousand workers and relatives returning to their hometowns for Tet, supporting 22.7 thousand bus tickets with a total budget of over 11 billion VND.
Housing care for workers is also focused on. Currently, the entire Group has 22 units with worker dormitories with over 4.7 thousand rooms. In 2025, 2 worker housing projects were started at Khe Cham Coal Company and Nui Beo Coal Company, and procedures were prepared to start 2 more projects at Thong Nhat Coal Company and Ha Lam Coal Company in 2026.
In addition, activities to care for the spiritual life of workers and their children continue to be widely organized. In 2025, the Group rewarded 848 excellent students at the Group level and 504 students in difficult circumstances; trade union levels rewarded over 28.8 thousand excellent students. The "Trade Union Meal" program was also implemented throughout the industry with more than 54 thousand union members participating.
According to Chairman of TKV Trade Union Le Thanh Xuan, in the coming time, TKV Trade Union will continue to coordinate with professional departments to pay attention to implementing the renovation and upgrading of campuses in collective areas, improving the living standards of workers, promoting emulation movements, focusing on discovering and fostering advanced examples, continuing to propagate so that workers understand and share difficulties and challenges; and at the same time encouraging and motivating workers to well implement the solutions set out by the group, contributing to successfully completing the tasks of 2026.
