Business environment rubbing
From early morning, the campus of the University of Economics - Da Nang University was crowded with attendees with job applications in hand. Unlike the psychology of racing for huge incomes, many young people today prioritize the environment for practice and long-term career advancement opportunities.
Ms. Mai Huynh Phuong Dung, currently a fourth-year student at the Faculty of E-commerce of Da Nang University of Economics, confided that she wants to find a destination that can help her learn and experience more because she does not have practical experience. Regarding income, this female student expects a starting salary ranging from 6 to 10 million VND.
When asked about her career orientation, Phuong Dung said that she is aiming for fields such as business, advertising, marketing and hotel services. "I think I will be more suitable for the sales position because this is an environment where I can interact with many people, bringing more rich experiences than an office position" - Dung affirmed.
To prepare for this baggage, the female student actively went to internships in some places in marketing and social networks to beautify her competency profile.
Student Pham Doan Kim Ngan said that she is directing her attention to administrative office work or related to the banking sector, mainly focusing on processing dossiers and papers. Having participated for a long time, Ngan is extremely confident in her ability.
