Recorded on February 24 (the 8th day of Tet), many businesses in the North of Ho Chi Minh City (the area formerly belonging to Binh Duong) have resumed production after Tet. Notably, in the Ben Cat, Bau Bang, Phu Giao, Dau Tieng areas, the number of operating businesses and workers returning to factories reached a high rate.
Working Group No. 9 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that on the 2nd working day after Tet, 705/826 enterprises (with grassroots trade unions managed by the unit) have restarted production after Tet, reaching a rate of 85.35%. Notably, 142,129/154,488 workers came to the factory to work, reaching a rate of 92% after Tet.

On the first day of work, most companies gave lucky money and encouraged workers who had returned to work. Thereby, building harmonious labor relations in the enterprise.
According to assessments, the number of workers returning to factories (in companies that have been operating) is high, meeting the production requirements of enterprises. The rest have not returned to factories because workers still apply for leave or intend to change jobs.
According to the plan, from February 25-27, most businesses in the North of Ho Chi Minh City will resume operations after the 2026 Lunar New Year.
