On June 26, the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held the 6th Executive Committee Conference, 11th tenure (expanded) to review trade union activities in the first 6 months of the year and deploy the work program for the last 6 months of the year.
The report at the conference showed that in the first 6 months of the year, the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor achieved 15/20 targets, of which 11 targets were achieved and exceeded by 100% or more compared to the targets assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Trade unions at all levels in the province have promoted their role in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; strengthened coordination with relevant agencies to inspect and supervise the implementation of labor laws, trade unions, social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, etc., and at the same time, supervised the payment of salaries and bonuses to union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
The negotiation and signing of collective labor agreements have been well implemented by the Trade Unions at all levels, directing the Trade Unions to coordinate with employers. As a result, 5 new business trade unions negotiated and signed, reaching 166% of the target assigned by the General Confederation of Labor and reaching 55.5% of the Resolution target. To date, 112/213 grassroots trade unions and trade unions have had collective labor agreements, reaching 91.8% of the Resolution target. Of which, 95/139 agreements have more favorable provisions for employees than legal regulations, reaching 68.34%, reaching 104% of the Resolution target. There are 9 grassroots trade unions that have increased the shift meal allowance to 22,000 VND, reaching 100% of the Resolution's target and 150% of the target assigned by the General Confederation.

The most prominent activity in the first 6 months of 2025 is the activity of caring for union members and workers during the Lunar New Year of At Ty, which continues to leave its mark and has a widespread influence among union members and workers. The Provincial Federation of Labor visited and presented gifts to nearly 9,000 union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of nearly 5 billion VND.
Responding to the Month of Action on Labor Safety and Hygiene and Workers' Month 2025, the Provincial Federation of Labor focuses on directing all levels to respond with many effective and practical activities to care for union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the province. On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented 24 "Union Shelters" to union members and workers with difficult housing circumstances with a total amount of more than 1 billion VND; presented 400 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 200 million VND. Trade unions at all levels in the province organized visits and presented gifts to 319 union members and workers with a total amount of nearly 160 million VND.
In the first 6 months of 2025, trade unions at all levels in the province admitted 643 new union members, bringing the total number of union members in the province to 53,924. Introduce 458 outstanding union members for the Party to train and consider, and 222 union members were admitted to the Party.

Speaking at the closing session of the Conference, Ms. Huynh Ut Muoi - President of the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor - suggested that in the last 6 months of the year, Trade Unions at all levels focus on implementing the targets and tasks set by the 2025 work program, contributing to the effective implementation of the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Provincial General Confederation of Labor; closely following the theme of activities in 2025 is "Focusing on developing union members; participating in building a clean and strong Party". Strengthen propaganda activities on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress; propagate about new policies and guidelines related to the Trade Union organization; focus on developing union members, establishing grassroots unions; organize activities to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union in conjunction with activities to care for union members and workers; continue to launch emulation movements; develop a plan to care for Tet for union members and workers; proactively grasp the situation of labor relations, employment, wages, bonuses, especially at the end of the year, the Lunar New Year 2026.
At the Conference, the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded Emulation Flags to 11 collectives, Certificates of Merit to 12 collectives and 120 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement and trade union activities in the 2024-2025 school year, along with many Certificates of Merit to other movements.
