The delegation visited and encouraged Wayne Co., Ltd., Daitoo Rubber Co., Ltd., and Vina Bigo Co., Ltd. in the Japanese Industrial Park - Hai Phong. These are three of the businesses that suffered the most damage after storm No. 3 in this industrial park. Currently, all three businesses are trying to overcome the consequences, and some workers are having to wait until the factory is repaired.
At the enterprises, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation shared the damage and loss with the enterprises, hoping that the enterprises would soon overcome the consequences of natural disasters to resume production. At the same time, he directed the grassroots trade unions to encourage workers to accompany the enterprises in difficult times; pay attention to policies for workers who have to take time off while waiting to overcome the consequences. The Hai Phong City Labor Federation also awarded a support fund of 10 million VND to each enterprise.
Previously, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation also visited, encouraged, and expressed condolences to the family of the male worker who died in storm No. 3, Mr. Nguyen Van Q (born in 1979, Phuong La village, Quyet Tien commune, Tien Lang district), a worker at Thuan Ich Leather Shoe Company. At the same time, the City Labor Federation presented 5 million VND in support to the victim's family; and is completing procedures to support the repair of Mr. Q's house that collapsed due to storm No. 3 with a budget of 30 million VND from the Trade Union Shelter.
