On the afternoon of June 23, the Phu Loc District Labor Federation (Hue City) held a preliminary review of the activities of the Trade Union in the first 6 months of 2025 and announced the decision on ending the activities of grassroots trade unions (CDCS) for administrative and career with 100% salary from the State budget.
Accordingly, in the first 6 months of 2025, the ideological situation of cadres, union members, workers, civil servants and laborers in Phu Loc district is basically stable; believing in the leadership of the Party and State, working with peace of mind.
Union members and workers expressed their joy and excitement when Hue became a centrally-governed city and agreed with the Politburo's policy on streamlining the political apparatus.
Phu Loc District Labor Federation promotes the implementation of the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress at all levels in conjunction with improving the quality of grassroots trade unions, especially in enterprises and non-state sectors.
Regarding collective labor agreements, as of June 2025, 13/16 enterprise trade unions have signed them, reaching a rate of 81.2%; 1 unit is developing a collective labor agreement to sign for the first time; 2 units are preparing to organize the 1st Congress.
The District Labor Federation guides and directs grassroots unions to negotiate and coordinate with employers to care for and improve the quality of shift meals for workers. Up to now, 10/16 trade unions have organized shift meals, each meal from 20 - 35,000 VND.
Regarding the work of caring for union members and workers, the District Labor Federation organized the presentation of 320 gifts with an amount of 280 million VND to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, especially those of affiliated trade unions from the Party, State, trade union organizations at all levels, and the Fatherland Front.
The grassroots unions in the district also presented thousands of gifts in cash and in kind to union members and workers of the unit.
Activities contributing to the construction of the Trade Union Shelter Fund; the gratitude Temple Fund; and the voluntary blood donation movement continue to receive attention. In particular, the District Labor Federation has handed over nearly 1.1 billion VND from the movement "Cadres, civil servants, and public employees save at least one thousand VND a day" to the District People's Committee to help poor households eliminate temporary houses.
From now until the end of June 2025, Phu Loc District Labor Federation will organize the handover of affiliated grassroots unions that are still operating after June 30, 2025 to Hue City Labor Federation for management; synthesize the financial records of affiliated grassroots unions to submit to the City Labor Federation according to regulations; hand over documents, finances, and union assets of the District Labor Federation to the City Labor Federation after the end of the district-level Labor Federation activities.
At the conference, 21 collectives and 38 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Phu Loc District Labor Federation for their outstanding achievements in Trade Union activities in 2024-2025; announced the decision on ending the activities of administrative and career trade unions receiving 100% salary from the State budget.
