On June 24, the Kien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to review the activities of the Trade Union in the first 6 months of the year, deploying directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.
At the conference, the Provincial Federation of Labor announced and presented the decision on dissolving the organization and ending the activities of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee of the Trade Union at the grassroots level directly under the Kien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor, term 2023 - 2028.
The 18 units that have ended operations since July 1, 2025 include: Provincial Civil Servants' Union, Health Sector Union, Education Sector Union and Labor Federations of 15 districts and cities of the province.
The Provincial Federation of Labor also announced the decision on receiving grassroots unions under the management of district, city and industry unions under the Provincial Federation of Labor. 16 units include: Provincial Civil Servants' Union, Health Sector Union, Education Sector Union; Labor Federations of 13 districts and cities.
The conference also presented early retirement decisions to 3 officials according to Decree 178; presented the decision to transfer 5 comrades to take up duties at the Provincial Federation of Labor.
