Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang said that as one of the Party Committees with a large number of Party members, since officially becoming a grassroots Party Committee under the Fatherland Front Party Committee, Central organizations, the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has promoted its comprehensive leadership role in all aspects of work, achieving many important results.
The Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has focused on perfecting the organization of the Party Committee's advisory and support agencies; leading the implementation of tasks to implement the 2025 theme of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; taking care of Tet for union members and workers according to the motto "All union members and workers have Tet" and activities to celebrate the country's major holidays.
In particular, the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has recently focused on and resolutely led the work of arranging the organization of the trade union apparatus at all levels and trade union public service units in the direction of streamlining, compactness, strength, efficiency, effectiveness, efficiency and actively and seriously participating in implementing the Party's policies on streamlining, streamlining, and consolidating the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; proposing to amend the Constitution and the Trade Union Law on related issues.
Up to now, it has been advised that the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations issue regulations on the functions and tasks of specialized committees to assist the General Confederation of Labor, arrange public service units; implement no trade union organization in administrative units, armed forces, public service units receiving 100% salary from the State budget.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang said that up to now, about 52,000 grassroots trade unions have been completed, 718 trade unions at the grassroots level, 2.2 million union members for cadres, civil servants and public employees who are no longer union members; organized accounting training courses, guided the handover of assets, finances and documents between trade unions at all levels and provinces; guided the establishment of commune and ward trade unions...
"In response to the new requirements for national development, deeply recognizing the responsibility of the Trade Union organization in organizing the implementation of major resolutions and policies of the Party, the Party Committee of the General Confederation is focusing on leading and directing the task of digital transformation among union members and workers, participating in building new productive forces, strongly applying science and technology to production, improving labor productivity, participating in building and perfecting policies and laws, building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations..." - Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang said.
At the same time, the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor is directing Party cells and Party Committees to implement Party congresses at all levels in accordance with the direction; is developing a plan for the 14th Trade Union Congress right after the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
