According to the report, Luc Yen Commune Trade Union was established in June 2025, currently managing 20 grassroots trade unions with more than 1,500 union members.
After going into operation, the unit quickly stabilized its organization, implemented many practical care programs such as "Trade Union Meal", "Trade Union Tet Market", "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party", and presented more than 380 gifts worth over 216 million VND to union members and workers.
At the working session, delegates focused on discussing solutions to improve the effectiveness of trade union activities, especially developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions, and introducing outstanding union members to the Party.
Leaders of the Luc Yen Commune Party Committee requested to strengthen grasping the thoughts of workers, well implement democracy regulations, and supervise regimes and policies on employment, income, insurance and labor safety.
Speaking in conclusion, Mr. Vu Cao Minh - Standing Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged the efforts of Luc Yen Commune Trade Union; and at the same time proposed to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; promote propaganda and develop union members; improve the effectiveness of coordination with socio-political organizations, and better care for the lives of workers.
On the same day, the working delegation visited and worked at 2 grassroots trade unions in the area to grasp the reality of life, employment and labor relations at enterprises.
