On January 14, the Vinh Chau Town Labor Federation (Soc Trang province) held a conference to review the Union's activities in 2024 and key tasks in 2025.
In 2024, Vinh Chau Town Trade Union at all levels focused on taking care of the lives, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers, especially during holidays, Tet, Workers' Month, and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union. Thereby, hundreds of gifts were presented to union members and workers with a budget of over 100 million VND. The implementation of democracy at the grassroots level is always a concern.
During the year, the model of high-quality crime prevention motorbike taxi team was established; the model of charity lottery; the revolving savings fund had 2,379 union members and employees participating, supporting 198 union members each month with an amount of 1-10 million VND.
In 2024, Vinh Chau Town Labor Federation achieved and exceeded 11/11 targets.
On this occasion, the Executive Committee of Vinh Chau Town Labor Federation awarded the Medal "For the cause of building the Trade Union organization" to 3 individuals; awarded the Certificate of Merit of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 1 collective and 2 individuals; Certificate of Merit of the Provincial Labor Federation to 2 collectives and 3 individuals and Certificate of Merit of Vinh Chau Town Labor Federation to 5 collectives and 10 individuals.
