The online Tet market with the address https://chotet.congdoan.vn/ will start operating from 0:00 on December 20, 2024 to 24:00 on January 20, 2025 (ie November 20 - December 21, Giap Thin year 2024).
“To bring joy to union members and workers every time Tet comes, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has decided to spend 100 billion VND to give shopping vouchers worth 500,000 VND/voucher to 200,000 union members and workers. Those who are supported with 500,000 VND shopping vouchers to go to the “Online Tet Market” are union members with excellent achievements in labor, production, and participation in union activities; union members who are still in difficulty and have low income. Currently, on the “Online Tet Market” there are more than 1,600 essential items for Tet and consumer products including food, food, drinks, gift packages, Tet gift baskets, decorations and products related to Tet; other products such as clothing, chemicals, household appliances…” - Mr. Nguyen Vinh Quang said.

Bringing Tet early to workers
Since mid-December 2024, the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union has coordinated with the Vietnam Textile and Garment Group and the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (Vitas) to organize the program "Tet Sum Vay - Workers' Festival - Nghia Tinh Market" in the Southern region at Viet Thang Corporation - JSC.
Here, the Vietnam Textile and Garment Union presented Tet gifts to 39 union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the Viet Thang cluster, including essential necessities and cash of 1 million VND/person. To support union members and workers, this year's Tet, in addition to organizing about 30 cars to support 1,200 industrial park workers to return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet and to welcome workers back to work after Tet, the Hanoi City Labor Federation will allocate financial resources to support bus fares for 5,000 workers to return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet with the aim of reducing the financial burden, helping workers have conditions to reunite with their families during Tet.
