Currently, Dien Bien has 31,502 union members/34,128 workers and civil servants, operating at 947 grassroots unions.
In the first 6 months of the year, the Labor Federations at all levels regularly increased their grasp of the ideological situation, life and employment of union members and workers. Implement well the work of inspection, supervision and proactively coordinate with competent authorities to promptly resolve related policies and regimes.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying the difficulties and limitations in performing trade union tasks in the first 6 months of 2025, discussing key tasks in the last 6 months of 2025 close to reality to meet the requirements of trade union tasks and activities in the new period.
In the last 6 months of 2025, the Provincial Federation of Labor identified 10 key tasks. In particular, focus on implementing the plan to end the activities of district-level Labor Federations, industry unions, provincial civil servant unions; receive grassroots unions to the provincial Labor Federation; continue to perform well the task of representing and protecting the rights of active people; strengthen welfare programs...
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tan Minh Long - Chairman of the Dien Bien Provincial Federation of Labor requested units to complete documents, archival documents, and hand over assets to ensure compliance with regulations and instructions of the Provincial Federation of Labor when the activities of the trade union at the grassroots level end before July 1.

On this occasion, the Dien Bien Provincial Federation of Labor awarded Certificates of Merit to 36 collectives and 66 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for Good Workers, building a strong Trade Union organization in the period of 2020-2025; Certificates of Merit to 3 collectives and 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing activities for Workers' Month in 2025.
Also at the conference, the Dien Bien Provincial Federation of Labor launched the emulation movement "The whole country competes in innovation and digital transformation" and "digital education in all levels of trade unions". The emulation period is from 2025-2030.
