Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Danh - Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation, briefly informed about the current damage caused by storm No. 3 to the northern provinces; at the same time, expressed deep sympathy for the pain and difficulties that the people of the northern provinces are suffering.
The Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized that Ha Tinh is a province that is often affected by natural disasters. After the damage caused by storms and floods, people across the country always turn to Ha Tinh, supporting and helping the people of Ha Tinh overcome the consequences.
In response to that gesture, now the people of the Northern provinces are suffering from natural disasters and heavy losses, so following the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Ha Tinh Provincial Confederation of Labor calls on cadres, union members, and employees in the whole province with all their affection, responsibility, and compassion, promoting the spirit of "mutual love and support", "the rich help the poor", joining hands to donate and support the people in the flood-hit areas of the North to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
At the launching ceremony, more than 250 cadres, union members and workers of Ha Tinh donated at least one day's salary to support the people of the Northern provinces. Immediately after the launching ceremony, the estimated amount of donations was more than 87 million VND.

Storms and floods have caused severe damage in many northern provinces.
