On March 23, the Dong Hoi City Labor Federation (Quang Binh Province) announced that it had just held a conference to hand over and receive grassroots unions (CDCS) and unions from dissolved industry unions under the City Labor Federation.
After the disolution, the City Labor Federation received 73 grassroots unions and 2 unions with a total of 4,831 workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLD), including 4,141 union members.
At the same time, the City Labor Federation handed over to the Provincial Labor Federation 2 grassroots unions, the grassroots union of Son Hai Group Company Limited and the grassroots union of Quang Binh Lottery Company Limited, with 1,681 employees 1,569 union members.
Thus, up to now, the Dong Hoi City Labor Federation has managed a total of 214 grassroots unions with 9,151 employees (8,345 union members).
Mr. Truong Thanh Binh - Chairman of the City Labor Federation - emphasized that the handover and acceptance of grassroots trade unions and trade unions is an important step in the process of streamlining the political apparatus, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of operations. Mr. Binh expressed his joy when the City Labor Federation welcomed many new members, creating conditions to strengthen solidarity and unity in union activities.
After receiving grassroots trade unions and trade unions from dissolved industry unions, the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation will focus on directing, perfecting the organization, and soon stabilizing the working regime.
