A series of activities to connect jobs and care for union members
The first "7th Employment Consulting - Social Housing Festival in 2025" is expected to take place for 3 days, from December 5 to 7, 2025.
In particular, the exhibition area, job consultation, and social housing projects will take place at the Viet Tiep Friendship Labor Cultural Palace during the 3 days of the event. It is expected that there will be about 130 booths of participating companies, enterprises and units. Area 1 is the employment consulting booths, supporting workers (90 - 100 units, enterprises). Area 2 consulting on social housing projects (10 - 15 units, enterprises). Area 3 will be a food stall (food, drinks...) serving union members and people who come to participate in the program (20 units, businesses). The Organizing Committee also arranged a common table and chair area to facilitate delegates during the rest and use of services at the program.
Coming to the exhibition area, workers are advised and introduced to the unit, enterprise; labor recruitment needs, welfare regimes of the unit, enterprise. At the same time, listen to advice and introductions about completed social housing projects; open-end housing funds; registration processes, procedures for purchasing social housing; support low-interest loans for union members and workers.
The main activities during the 3 days of the event are the opening of the 1st Employment Consulting - Social Housing Festival in 2025 at 8:00 p.m. on December 5. Talkshow "Touching Dreams: Housing within reach - Employment within reach" takes place at 8:30 a.m. on December 6.
On the last day of the event, workers were informed and disseminated about legal policies on Social Insurance and the Trade Union Law at 8:00 a.m. on December 7; and enjoyed the program of the Viet Tiep Friendship Labor Club Festival in the afternoon of the same day. The City Labor Federation also coordinated to organize the program of Clearing factors for risk of cardiovascular disease - stroke and metabolic diseases (Cholesterol: Blood fat, Triglyceride: Blood fat, Glucose: Blood sugar) for workers from 7:30 am to 11:30 am on December 6 and 7.
Practical events to attract and gather union members
According to Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chairman of the City Labor Federation, this is a practical activity to care for the lives, jobs and welfare of union members and workers.
The program will be an effective bridge between workers and enterprises, contributing to job creation, sustainable labor restructuring, meeting the requirements of socio-economic development of the city and the country; supporting union members, workers, students, demobilized soldiers and freelance workers to access market information, recruitment trends, career orientation and appropriate job opportunities.
Along with that, expanding the multi-dimensional connection space between management agencies, trade unions, enterprises and social housing investors, promoting the synchronous development of the labor market and social housing; providing information, policy advice, supporting workers to access stable housing, gradually realizing the goal of " settling down to make a living".
Through the program, workers listen to legal policy propaganda, improve knowledge and professional skills, build high-quality human resources in the period of industrialization, modernization and digital transformation. At the same time, promoting the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for, protecting the rights, accompanying workers in terms of jobs, housing and quality of life; contributing to the propaganda and mobilization of workers to trust and desire to become union members.
The City Labor Federation recommends that Trade Unions at all levels proactively deploy, coordinate implementation and create the most favorable conditions for union members and workers to actively participate and enjoy the activities of the festival.
