On June 21, the Vung Tau City Labor Federation (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) held a conference to summarize the 34-year journey of construction and development; announcing the end of operations from July 1, 2025.
At the same time, organize to express gratitude for the important contributions of leaders and full-time staff through the periods; organize to commend and reward outstanding collectives and individuals in trade union activities.
Over 34 years of establishment and development, the Vung Tau City Trade Union has performed well the function of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers and civil servants; actively participating in socio-economic management, caring for the material and spiritual life of workers; contributing to building a strong working class, worthy of being the core force leading the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country, successfully implementing the Resolution of the Vung Tau City Party Committee, building Vung Tau as a city of " ASEAN Clean Tourism"; a high-quality, international-class tourism city ...
With the achieved results, the Vung Tau City Trade Union at all levels has been recognized, highly appreciated and rewarded by the Party, the State, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial Federation of Labor with outstanding achievements... Thereby, clearly affirming the role and position of the Trade Union organization in the political system, worthy of the trust of union members, workers and the expectations of local Party committees and authorities.
Mr. Le Van Hoa - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor - highly appreciated the results that the Vung Tau City Federation of Labor has achieved through the periods; sent his thanks to the team of union officials, all union members, workers... who have always trusted, attached, and accompanied the Trade Union organization.
Implementing the general policy, there will be many changes in the Trade Union organization model in the coming time, in which the Vung Tau City Labor Federation will end its activities from July 1.
"However, this end is not the end, but a more necessary start for a new stage of development. Hopefully, comrades who continue their tasks will continue to inherit and promote the enthusiasm and responsibility of the Trade Union cadres, be proactive, flexible, creative and quickly adapt to perform well the assigned functions and tasks", Mr. Hoa emphasized.
On this occasion, the Vung Tau City Labor Federation also organized a comprehensive award ceremony for 42 collectives and 69 individuals; awarded thematic certificates of merit to 13 collectives and 55 individuals. At the same time, the Provincial Federation of Labor also organized the awarding of emulation flags and certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with achievements in activities.
