Speaking at the conference, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Huynh Thanh Xuan highly appreciated the proactiveness and creativity of Thai Nguyen Provincial Trade Unions at all levels in implementing Workers' Month 2025 with many practical activities. These activities not only create a wide spread in the working community but also contribute to affirming the role and position of trade unions in the new situation.
"Entering a new era of development, especially in the context of digital transformation, artificial intelligence and innovation are becoming the main driving force for growth, launching a creative idea contest to improve work efficiency and labor productivity and organizing a creative festival is a right and timely step.
This will be the foundation for discovering, nurturing and spreading valuable ideas, creating momentum for the sustainable development of the workforce" - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Huynh Thanh Xuan emphasized.
The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor suggested that trade unions at all levels in the province continue to promote propaganda and mobilize union members and workers to actively participate in the contest. arouse and promote the spirit of creativity and innovation right in each job position. Every initiative and improvement, no matter how small, has great significance in improving work efficiency.
Governments at all levels and businesses in the area need to closely coordinate with trade unions to build a healthy working environment, creating the most favorable conditions for workers to promote their capacity.
Responding to Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month in 2025, Thai Nguyen Provincial Trade Unions at all levels have organized 22 launching and admission ceremonies for over 5,241 new union members. Establish 14 grassroots trade unions; start construction of 4 "Union Shelters"; give 1,390 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances with a total value of nearly 2 billion VND.
At the same time, 39 dialogues were organized, 20 "Union Meals", 134 dissemination sessions on labor law were organized, and 81 cultural and sports activities were organized. Recognized and rewarded 486 advanced models, opened 21 training classes and conducted 11 occupational safety and health inspections.
The meaningful activities were implemented to affirm the role of trade unions in caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
At this conference, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Federation of Labor launched the "Creative idees to improve work efficiency and labor productivity" Contest in 2025.
The contest aims to arouse the potential for creativity and innovation among union members and workers. Thereby, seeking and honoring practical initiatives and ideas, contributing to improving work efficiency and labor productivity.
On this occasion, the organizing committee honored 28 outstanding individuals who received the Creative Labor Certificate from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and awarded collectives with many achievements during Workers' Month.
Previously, on the night of May 30, the program "Thank you to workers" was organized with many meaningful and exciting activities. The highlight is the Gala "Thank you, workers".
