According to the People's Committee of Hung Yen province, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of administrative agencies, public service agencies, political organizations, socio-political organizations (civil servants, public employees) will have the Lunar New Year holiday in 2025 from Saturday, January 25, 2025 (ie December 26, Giap Thin year) to Sunday, February 2, 2025 (ie January 5, At Ty year). This holiday includes 5 days off for Lunar New Year and 4 days off every week.
Agencies and units implementing the Lunar New Year holiday schedule should note the following: Arrange and organize on-duty departments according to regulations and work reasonably to handle continuous work, ensure good service to organizations and people, in which note to assign officers and civil servants to be on duty to handle sudden and unexpected work that may occur during the Tet holiday and holidays according to regulations.
Agencies, units, and localities have specific and appropriate plans and measures to encourage units, enterprises, organizations, and individuals to actively and proactively implement production, business, economic, and social activities, ensuring stable supply and demand of goods, services, prices, and markets, contributing to promoting production, business, economic growth, practicing thrift, fighting waste, striving to successfully implement the goals and tasks of the 2025 plan, the year of acceleration and breakthrough in implementing the 5-year plan 2021 - 2025, creating a solid foundation and premise for rapid and sustainable development in the coming time.
Agencies and units that do not have a fixed schedule of Saturday and Sunday every week will base on the specific program and plan of the unit to arrange a suitable schedule of holidays, in accordance with the provisions of law.
For employees who are not civil servants or public employees, the employer decides to choose the Lunar New Year holiday plan as follows: Choose 1 day at the end of the year of Giap Thin and the first 4 days of the year of At Ty or 2 days at the end of the year of Giap Thin and the first 3 days of the year of At Ty or 3 days at the end of the year of Giap Thin and the first 2 days of the year of At Ty. Notify employees of the Lunar New Year holiday plan at least 30 days before implementation.
If the weekly day off coincides with a public holiday or Tet holiday as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 112 of the Labor Code, the employee shall be entitled to take a compensatory weekly day off on the next working day as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 111 of the Labor Code.
