On May 9, information from the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) said that the unit had just coordinated with the Cao Bang Department of Health to organize a conference to summarize the Coordination Program for the period 2020-2025.
The two sides also organized the signing of the Coordination Program for the period 2026-2031 and deployed propaganda and mobilization to re-establish grassroots trade unions in non-business units under the health sector.
In the period 2020-2025, the two units have effectively coordinated in caring for and protecting the health of union members and workers; organized health check-ups, health consultations, and free medicine distribution for more than 1,000 turns of workers, civil servants, and laborers; promoted propaganda on occupational safety and health and organized dialogues, and promptly resolved many recommendations of union members.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Be Dang Khoa and Deputy Director of the Department of Health Doi Duy Tri affirmed that the coordination program has brought many practical results, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life and health care for health workers in the health sector.
Stepping into a new phase, the two units will continue to strengthen the work of caring for and protecting the health of union members, focusing on periodic health check-ups, occupational disease screening, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene, and mobilizing socialized resources to improve the quality of health care for workers.
At the same time, continue to propagate and mobilize the re-establishment of grassroots trade unions in units of the health sector assigned autonomy.
Throughout the conference, leaders of both units expressed their trust and determination to continue to be attached to take better care of the lives and health of union members and workers in the new situation.
