Many practical activities after the merger
On August 18, the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor announced that after merging the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor and the Kon Tum Provincial Federation of Labor (old) into the new Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor, the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor directly directed and managed 416 grassroots unions with 84,363 union members/95,331 workers, civil servants and laborers.
In July 2025, many practical activities were implemented to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28), typically: handing over two "Union Shelters" to union members in difficult circumstances; four enterprises organized "Union Meals" with more than 2,000 workers and laborers participating; establishing three commune and ward-level unions; establishing two new grassroots unions at foreign-invested enterprises, admitting 164 workers and laborers to the Vietnam Trade Union.
Strengthen propaganda and political and ideological education for union members and workers; focus on implementing the Project to improve and reorganize the trade union apparatus; resolve the regime for cadres and civil servants who retire early and quit their jobs according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP, Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP of the Government.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Lan - President of the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor, the province has promptly implemented projects and plans to arrange and perfect the organization and apparatus of the trade union organization; strengthen leadership, direction, and grasp the ideological situation of cadres, union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers; stabilize labor relations in enterprises; promptly direct and organize movements of workers, civil servants, laborers, and trade union activities at the grassroots level...
Continuing to reorganize and streamline the apparatus
In the coming time, the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to reorganize and streamline the organization and apparatus of trade union agencies according to the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
Propaganda and organization of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); propaganda for Party congresses at all levels, the 1st Provincial Party Congress, the 14th National Congress of the Party, the Congress of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations. Direct grassroots trade union congresses and organize the first Quang Ngai Provincial Trade Union Congress.
