On August 16, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province held the 1st Conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, term 2024-2029.
At 96 connecting points of communes, wards and special zones, there were the participation of representatives of the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the commune level, and members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of 96 communes, wards and special zones of Ly Son.
At the conference, Mr. Ho Ngoc Thinh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province - reported on the results of the implementation of tasks in the first 6 months of the year and the direction for the last 6 months of 2025. In the past 6 months, the provincial "For the Poor" Fund has mobilized and received more than 119 billion VND, supported the construction of 1,749 houses, repaired 853 houses with a total cost of more than 90 billion VND.
Social security, humanitarian and charity activities have been implemented synchronously, mobilizing nearly 10 billion VND from the political system, businesses and philanthropists.
Mobilize businesses and social organizations to contribute to building "House of Love", "House of Great Unity". Organized free medical examinations and medicine for over 10,000 people; cataract surgery for 120 people.
Visit and give gifts to 115 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; thousands of policy households and people with meritorious services to the revolution. Mobilized nearly 10 billion VND to support poor households, policy families, and disadvantaged children.
At the conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province launched a special emulation campaign to achieve achievements to celebrate the Congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term, and at the same time celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025). The launch period is from August 20, 2025 to October 20, 2025.
