
Before July 2025, the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor had a total of 416 grassroots unions with 35,128 union members. In the first 6 months of 2025, trade unions at all levels in Dak Lak province have done a good job of negotiating and signing collective labor agreements.
The whole province has 25 units signing collective labor agreements. Of which, 18 were amended, supplemented or re-signed and 7 were newly signed for the first time. To date, the whole province has 288/380 units signed collective labor agreements, reaching a rate of 75.7%.
In general, the signed agreements all have more content that brings more practical benefits to union members and workers. For example, the contents related to salary, bonus, personal insurance... In particular, there are 25 collective labor agreements with negotiation content to increase the value of mid-shift meals.
Also during the above time frame, trade unions at all levels in the province have implemented many solutions to develop union members and build trade union organizations. The unit has conducted surveys, propaganda, mobilized the admission of union members and established grassroots unions at units and enterprises.

The whole province admitted 1,647 new union members, an increase of 320/10,000 union members, reaching 3.2% of the target assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The Provincial Federation of Labor has established 15 grassroots unions in non-state enterprises, including 6 units with 25 or more workers.
In particular, the work of caring for union members and workers, especially workers in difficult circumstances and suffering from serious illnesses, has been implemented by trade unions at all levels in the province, focusing on the peak during the Lunar New Year 2025, Workers' Month... with many rich and practical forms of activities. As a result, trade unions at all levels coordinated with relevant units to visit, encourage, and give gifts to 59,343 union members in difficult circumstances... with a total budget of 15 billion VND.
At the same time, the Provincial Federation of Labor has supported the construction and repair of 127 Trade Union Shelters for union members with difficult housing circumstances with a total cost of nearly 6 billion VND (reaching 127% of the set target).
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Le Van Thanh - Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation - said: "In the coming time, trade unions at all levels will continue to coordinate with relevant units to inspect and supervise compliance with laws and policies for workers at enterprises".
According to Mr. Thanh, the provincial trade union will organize the assessment and classification of the quality of collective labor agreements according to the instructions of superiors. Units need to proactively seek new partners to sign cooperation agreements, in order to bring more benefits to union members; replicate practical models in caring for the material and spiritual lives of workers.
"One of the key tasks at present is to innovate activities and improve the quality of the trade union staff. Each cadre needs to be clearly aware of their responsibilities and roles to continuously learn, practice, and meet the requirements of the job in the new period" - Mr. Thanh added.
