Currently, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor has 56 affiliated units, including 41 commune and ward trade unions and 15 affiliated trade unions with 1,044 grassroots trade unions and 301,891 union members.
The leaders of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor also have 5 Deputy Heads of the Trade Union Work Committee and Heads of the Professional Department such as: Organization - Inspection; Propaganda - Women's Affairs; Legal policy and Labor Relations; Finance; Office and 7 Deputy Heads of the Trade Union Work Committee are Deputy Heads of the above-mentioned work departments.
In recent times, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor has always been the leading unit in the national workers' movement and trade union work. The Provincial Federation of Labor has affirmed its central and core role in caring for and protecting the rights of workers and accompanying local socio-economic development.
The Provincial Federation of Labor has participated in resolving dozens of labor disputes, coordinating with competent authorities to inspect and examine the implementation of labor laws at enterprises, especially in industrial parks.Thereby, many violations of wages, social insurance, working hours, and rest have been handled promptly.
Activities to care for the welfare of union members, workers, civil servants and laborers have been implemented in a diverse and practical manner.
The work of developing union members and building a strong union organization has achieved many positive results. The Provincial Federation of Labor has directed the establishment of hundreds of new grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions; focusing on improving the quality of life, enhancing periodic dialogue at the workplace and promoting the role of trade union officials in resolving complaints and concerns of workers.
The communication work of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor has achieved many important results in recent times with diverse types of communication and is the leading support and direction unit for distributing Lao Dong newspapers in the country. This achievement has promptly conveyed the policy policies of the Party, State and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor as well as reflected the diverse activities of the Provincial Federation of Labor.
Thanh Hoa Labor Federation actively and proactively participates in implementing the Project "Two-level Local Government" after merging administrative units, ensuring stable organization of the trade union apparatus, without interruption of activities at the grassroots level.
In the coming time, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor will focus on implementing 3 major focuses: Streamlining the organization of the trade union apparatus to be streamlined and efficient; promoting digital transformation and improving the quality of grassroots activities; enhancing care and protection of workers' rights. Welfare work, support for union members in difficult circumstances and patriotic emulation movements were practically organized, associated with the 96th anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union.
With the spirit of innovation and creativity, the Thanh Hoa Labor Federation has become a bright spot in the national union system, affirming its role as a reliable support for employees and a pioneer force in building harmonious and progressive labor relations in the province.
The assessment, arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus is an important turning point in the organization and operation of the provincial trade union. This is not only a change in structure, but also marks a new period, towards comprehensive and breakthrough development said Mr. Vo Manh Son, member of the Provincial Party Committee, member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor.
