On June 26, 2025, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) issued Decision No. 3690/QD-TLD on the establishment of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Federation of Labor. Accordingly, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Federation of Labor was established on the basis of merging the Tuyen Quang Provincial Federation of Labor and the Ha Giang Provincial Federation of Labor.
Tuyen Quang Provincial Federation of Labor is currently managing 33,291 union members with 304 affiliated grassroots unions. In recent years, the work of caring for union members and workers has been implemented by trade unions at all levels with many practical and effective activities. Especially during the Lunar New Year and Workers' Month, the Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated to visit and give gifts to tens of thousands of union members and workers.
Implementing the policy of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on the quality of shift meals, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Trade Union has proactively negotiated and improved the quality of shift meals at many enterprises, with a level of 20,000 VND to over 22,000 VND, while ensuring food safety and hygiene, ensuring the health of workers.
The "Union Shelter" housing support program has been widely implemented. During the past term, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Federation of Labor has implemented support for nearly 500 union member families with difficult housing circumstances with a total amount of nearly 20 billion VND. Social activities have always been of interest to trade unions at all levels, mobilizing union members and workers to support the "For the Poor" fund and the " gratitude fund". Tuyen Quang Provincial Trade Unions at all levels have also actively responded to the province's launching of the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, support the construction of houses for people with meritorious services and poor veterans with tens of billions of VND, contributing to the good implementation of social security work in the province.
Talking with reporters, Mr. Trieu Tai Phong - Chairman of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Federation of Labor said that in the coming time, the Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to do a good job of stabilizing the organization and apparatus of the Trade Union organization from the province to the grassroots. Implement to ensure the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.
In addition, it is necessary to constantly improve the operational capacity of trade union officials. Strengthen propaganda and education for union members and workers, participate in the socio-economic development process of the locality and the province. Continue to promote the development of union members and the establishment of grassroots unions in enterprises.
Diversify forms of approach, propaganda, and mobilization of workers to join the Vietnam Trade Union through specific and practical activities to care for the interests of union members, using the interests of union members as a basis for gathering and attracting workers to participate in trade union activities.
Improve the quality of union members, effectively manage union members and grassroots unions using technology.
