Mr. Lai Hoang Dung - Chairman of the company's union shared that in addition to ensuring that the basic salary of employees is always at least 46% higher than the regional evening salary (new production staff joining the company), the company is implementing many other practical welfare policies to support employees. The company supports free nutritional mid-shift meals at a value of VND32,000/meal; supports travel and accommodation costs of VND400,000/person/month and diligence bonuses of VND400,000/person/month.
The company also has other allowances to encourage employees to be committed and responsible in their work, such as a monthly phone allowance for positions from 100,000 - 800,000 VND/person; a childcare allowance of 150,000 VND/quarter/child for employees with children under 6 years old and some other adjusted allowances and work allowances. The company has also built a modern dormitory for employees, including 8 buildings with a total of 668 rooms, providing accommodation for more than 2,000 employees.
As of June 30, 2025, the number of employees working at Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd.
