When the subsidy increased, Mr. Lan's wife said she would spend it all to buy her husband better medicine.
Employee happiness index is the benefits enjoyed
In July 2024, Mr. Cao Van Mi (residing in Khanh Vinh district, Khanh Hoa) received 60 million VND in support to build a private house with a solid concrete foundation to replace his wooden house that was at risk of collapsing at any time. His family is poor, with 3 members, so he recently applied for a job as a worker at a company specializing in wood chip processing in the mountainous district of Khanh Vinh.
With a total monthly income of more than 4 million VND, when his parents gave him land, Mr. Mi only dared to build a temporary wooden house to live in. Every rainy season, he was worried that his house was about to collapse. When the union connected him with support, both husband and wife lost sleep with joy. Excitedly borrowing an additional amount in addition to the support, Mr. Mi and his family are completing the house they have been dreaming of for many years.
“Having a stable house is my success this year. With support to build a house, my wife and I have more motivation and better spirit to work harder, take better care of our children, and set a goal to strive to escape poverty so that our children can have a more prosperous life,” Mr. Mi shared.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Suong - Long Sinh Company Limited - shared that in 2024, the Company's employees will receive a salary increase in the context of many businesses facing difficulties due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. According to Ms. Suong, salary and bonus are the number 1 important indicator in the commitment and dedication of employees.
In fact, for businesses to be able to increase annual salaries and bonuses, the necessary factor is that the business operates effectively, making positive contributions not only to society and the economy, but also to employees. This makes employees feel safe and happy when they can work in an environment where the business has stable and sustainable development. There are also cases where not all businesses that operate effectively and have good profits are willing to increase annual salaries and bonuses for employees. Only business owners who are truly dedicated will give more and more benefits to employees when the business is operating well.
“We feel lucky to work in an environment where the business owner always creates conditions and strives to increase salaries and benefits for employees. Employees themselves also feel respected, cared for and will devote themselves,” Ms. Suong emphasized.
