On March 17, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation said that in the first quarter of 2026, trade union levels have implemented many practical activities to care for union members and workers such as: "Tet Sum vay 2026", "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026", "Trade Union Year-end Meal", "Border Guard Spring - Warming People's Hearts", and activities to visit and give gifts on New Year's Eve.
Specifically, the "Tet Sum vay 2026" program is organized in 2 areas, giving 600 gifts (800,000 VND/gift), with a total budget of 480 million VND; and at the same time supporting the construction of 10 "Trade Union Homes" for union members in difficult circumstances, with a budget of 500 million VND.
The "Trade Union Year-End Meal" program was also organized for 632 union members and workers, with a total budget of 53.7 million VND.
In addition, from the Golden Heart Charity Fund, trade union levels have supported 233 union members and workers affected by natural disasters and storms, with a total budget of more than 299.3 million VND.
The "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" program attracted 4,580 union members to participate in shopping through e-commerce platforms, with a total support budget of 2.29 billion VND, and a successful transaction rate of nearly 96%.
Mr. Le Van Thanh, Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation, said that in 2026, trade union levels will continue to effectively implement welfare programs, focusing on the "Trade Union Home" program to support union members facing housing difficulties.
According to Mr. Thanh, in recent years, the program has helped many union members build new houses and repair houses, gradually stabilizing their lives. Not only bringing material value, each home is also a source of spiritual encouragement, helping workers feel secure in working and long-term attachment to agencies, units, and businesses.
Through this, the program contributes to improving living conditions and consolidating union members' trust in the trade union organization.
