Shelters of affection for union members in difficult circumstances
The Trade Union Shelter Program has become a fulcrum for union members and workers in difficult circumstances over the years; each house given is not only a place to live but also affirms the sharing and care of the Trade Union organization.
During this period, one of the happy union members to welcome the new home was Ms. Tran Thi Thuy An - a union member of Cong Linh LLC.
Ms. An said that she has worked at the company for many years and always tries her best to fulfill her duties. Her family's circumstances are extremely difficult. The couple has to raise a small child, with an unstable income just enough to cover their daily expenses.
The old greenhouse was seriously degraded, every time it rained, water leaked everywhere, disrupting family life. Receiving support from the Trade Union Shelter Fund, she has a new house, a long-standing dream of the whole family.
"With a solid home, I promise to try to work better, take care of my family, and raise my children well so as not to disappoint the attention of the Trade Union organization," Ms. An added.

Similarly, Mr. Le Cong Muoi - a worker at Tra Vinh Urban Construction Joint Stock Company is also one of the cases receiving support.
Although he has been attached to and devoted to the unit for many years, due to limited economic conditions, his family has to live in a makeshift, dilapidated house every time the rainy season comes.
Mr. Muoi's greatest joy is now being able to move to live in a new, sturdy, clean house supported by the Union. He expressed his deep gratitude to the Trade Union organization and promised to continue to make efforts in work and stabilize family life.
More motivation to overcome difficulties
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Ms. Vo Thi Thu Oanh - Vice President of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation - said that since the beginning of the year, Trade Unions at all levels in the province have supported the construction of 59 Trade Union Shelters with a total value of more than 3 billion VND.
Of which, 27 houses have been handed over, today we continue to give 10 more houses to union members in difficult circumstances. This is a practical activity, contributing to helping workers settle down, stabilize their lives, work with peace of mind and stay with the enterprise for a long time.

"In the coming time, the Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to care for and look after the lives of union members, especially in terms of housing, so that workers can work with peace of mind and stay with the enterprise for a long time," Ms. Oanh added.
The Trade Union Shelters not only help union members have safe and stable accommodation, but also give them more motivation to overcome difficulties, affirming the accompanying role of the Trade Union organization in caring for workers.
