Union Shelter helps union members in Soc Trang settle down

Soc Trang - 2 union members in My Tu district were supported with a Trade Union Shelter, helping to stabilize their home and work with peace of mind, and improve their lives.

On June 11, the My Tu District Labor Federation (Soc Trang province) organized the handover of the Trade Union Shelter to union members Chau Van Tri - My Phuoc Commune Trade Union and Tran Minh Thien - Long Hung Commune Trade Union.

The two houses of union member Chau Van Tri and Tran Minh Thien were built with a solid design, reinforced concrete floor, walls and roofs. The total cost of each house is about 150 million VND, of which the Provincial Trade Union Shelter Fund supports 50 million VND, the rest is contributed by family and relatives.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mr. Le Van Phai - Vice President of the Soc Trang Provincial Labor Federation congratulated the union members' families. At the same time, it affirmed that housing support is a practical activity demonstrating the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in caring for the lives of union members in difficulty, contributing to the effective implementation of social security policies in the locality.
