On January 18, at the Hong Ngu District Political Center, the Dong Thap Provincial Civil Servants' Union coordinated with the Hong Ngu District Labor Federation to organize the program "Spring Border - Spring Connecting Love" with the theme "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Dong Thap province by 2025".
Attending the event were comrade Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - Provincial Party Committee member, President of the Provincial Labor Federation and more than 300 officials, union members and workers.
At the program, the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union, and grassroots trade unions under the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union presented symbolic plaques to support funding for the construction of 20 houses for union members and people with difficult housing circumstances in Hong Ngu and Tan Hong districts; and directly presented 300 gifts to soldiers of Cau Muong Border Guard Station, union members, people, and students with difficult circumstances in Hong Ngu district.
The Union supported materials, lighting equipment, installation of electricity and lighting equipment for 5 households and 310 gifts for soldiers of Cau Muong Border Post, union members, workers, people and students in difficult circumstances, with a total amount of more than 1.2 billion VND.
The program aims to contribute to taking care of soldiers, union members, workers, people and students in difficult circumstances during Tet and Spring, and at the same time respond to the emulation movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Dong Thap province in 2025".
