The model is implemented to mobilize the joint efforts of grassroots trade unions, officials, union members and organizations and individuals in the area in caring for children of workers, civil servants, and laborers in particularly difficult circumstances.
Not only stopping at material support, the program also focuses on creating a spiritual support, helping children have more faith and motivation in life.
In the first launch, 7 orphaned children were sponsored with a total budget of 84 million VND over 2 years. Each child has a "midwife" who directly cares for and monitors their learning, living and health situation, thereby promptly encouraging and supporting them when they encounter difficulties.

According to a representative of the Truong Vinh Ward Trade Union, the model is built in a sustainable direction, putting the long-term companionship factor first. In addition to financial support, the "midwives" also regularly visit and share, helping them feel the community's concern, thereby becoming more confident in their studies and lives.
The launch of the model also clearly demonstrates the core role of trade union organizations in social security work in the locality, not only caring for the lives of union members but also expanding responsibilities to families and children of workers.
The initial success of the program is considered a premise for the Truong Vinh Ward Trade Union to continue to mobilize and replicate the model in the coming time, aiming to support more disadvantaged children in the area.
