In reality, the Party Committee of the General Confederation of Labor has focused on leading and directing the resolution of difficulties and problems to adapt to the new organizational model. Accordingly, many issues arising from the grassroots, from the operation process according to the new model are compiled, researched, resolved and recommended for resolution according to authority.
Direct the consolidation, gradually reviewing, arranging, and perfecting to improve the performance of economic units and public service units under the General Confederation of Labor to complete political targets and tasks, contributing to improving operational efficiency, building a strong Trade Union organization, and better serving union members and workers. To achieve this result, the Party Committee of the General Confederation of Labor has maintained the leadership principle of the Party, especially the principle of democratic centralism; ensuring the comprehensive and direct leadership of Party committees at all levels over Trade Union activities. Regularly consolidate and enhance the core political role of the Party organization at agencies and units. Linking Party building work with practical implementation of political tasks is a key factor in ensuring the effectiveness and fighting strength of the Party organization.
The 2025-2030 term is a period of special significance to the country's development, realizing the Strategic goals set for 2030. Therefore, I hope that the Party Committee of the General Confederation of Labor will continue to lead the work of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers. In particular, leading the research and application of science and technology in production and trade union activities; promoting innovation and digital transformation in trade union activities, contributing to the successful implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo. Launch emulation of workers and laborers to promote initiatives, improve techniques, and improve skills to meet the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

During the past term, the Party Committee of the General Confederation of Labor has innovated the method of comprehensive leadership and direction, ensuring the connection between the Party's leadership role and professional management and operation in the trade union system. Party committees at all levels strictly implement working regulations, clearly assign responsibilities, promote the role of individuals in charge, encourage initiative and creativity.
Digital transformation work has been promoted; many conferences and meetings combined directly - online; document management, operation, and conclusion monitoring software of Party committees have been applied, contributing to modernizing Party work, saving time and costs, and improving leadership efficiency.
Promoting the achieved results, in the coming term, I hope the Party Committee will continue to focus on improving the political, ideological and revolutionary ethics of cadres and party members; organize the study and practice of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in a practical manner, associated with the implementation of new directives of the Central Committee. In particular, it is necessary to continue to innovate the content and leadership methods of Party committees at all levels, so that the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor is truly the political core, comprehensive leadership in the trade union system.
Along with that is to uphold the principle of democratic centralism, promote democracy associated with discipline and order; improve the capacity of cadres, build a team with courage, intelligence, and prestige, meeting the requirements of the new period. Directing and operating work needs to continue to be modernized in a professional, flexible direction, adapting to digital transformation and international integration. I believe that, with the tradition of solidarity, responsibility and innovation, the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will lead the entire trade union system to successfully complete the tasks in the new period.
