The Dat Viet Talent Award (NTDV) was initiated and chaired by the Vietnam Association for the Promotion of Education in 2004. Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) is the unit that has accompanied the organization and main sponsor of the Award for nearly 20 years.
This year's awards were launched in the fields of: Digital Technology, Creative Youth, Medicine - Pharmacy, Education, Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment, Encouragement of Learning - Self-study for talent. In which, Digital Technology is the core area of the award. In the field of Digital Technology, the Dat Viet Talent Award is chaired by the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group with the theme "AI and data - Breakthrough technology".
This is not only a professional orientation for this year's season but also demonstrates the spiritual continuation of Resolution No. 57 dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on the development of science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
The award in the field of Digital Technology was launched in early 2025 and up to now has attracted more than 130 quality products, diverse in content and closely following the theme set by the Organizing Committee. The Organizing Committee is continuing to receive documents until August 31, and at the same time, implementing communication activities and connecting experts to support authors to complete the product, ready to enter the professional evaluation round and present the final presentation.
In the field of Encouragement of Learning - Self-study for success, the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education has widely deployed it to all localities through the system of Association for Promoting Education in provinces and cities across the country. The award has received positive responses and enthusiastic participation from many members, non-professional inventors, and creative workers at the facility.
According to the Organizing Committee, as of July 29, after the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee has selected 5 typical projects to be considered for awards in the field of Encouragement of Education - Self-study for Talent in 2025, including: Flood warning post, water rising with fireworks signal; 360-degree rotating hydraulic sugarcane remover machine; earth ditching equipment; NH-10/70 honey refining machine; Application of sugar enzyme reducing pipes in the production process.
Other fields are being closely coordinated with ministries, research institutes, universities and specialized associations to introduce, select and guide entrance exams.
The contestants will be accepted until August 31. The judging ceremony will take place from September 5 to 30, 2025. The award ceremony will be held in Hanoi in October, broadcast live on Vietnam Television.
During the journey from 2005 to present, the Dat Viet Talent Award has attracted more than 7,500 authors and groups of authors, including 250 overseas Vietnamese; received more than 3,500 products and scientific works to compete; Honored more than 210 outstanding works, with over 50 products commercialized, present in regional and international markets.
