Based on the Appendix issued with Decree 293/2025/ND-CP (effective from January 1, 2026) stipulating the list of areas applying the regional minimum wage, including areas of new communes and wards belonging to the regional minimum wage application area in Quang Ninh province, specifically as follows:
Region I, including An Sinh, Dong Trieu, Binh Khe, Mao Khe, Hoang Que, Yen Tu, Vang Danh, Uong Bi, Dong Mai, Hiep Hoa, Quang Yen, Ha An, Phong Coc, Lien Hoa, Tuan Chau, Viet Hung, Bai Chay, Ha Tu, Ha Lam, Cao Xanh, Hong Gai, Ha Long, Hoanh Bo, Mong Cai 1, Mong Cai 2, Mong Cai 3 wards and Quang La, Thong Nhat, Hai Son, Hai Ninh, Vinh Thuc communes.
Region II, including Mong Duong, Quang Hanh, Cam Pha, Cua Ong wards and Hai Hoa commune.
Region III, including Tien Yen, Dien Xa, Dong Ngu, Hai Lang, Quang Tan, Dam Ha, Quang Ha, Duong Hoa, Quang Duc, Cai Chien communes and Van Don special zone.
Region IV, including the remaining communes, wards and special zones.
Based on Article 3 of Decree 293/2025/ND-CP stipulating the regional minimum wage for workers working under labor contracts as follows:
Thus, from the above regulations, the regional minimum wage in Quang Ninh province from 2026 is specifically as follows:
(1) The minimum monthly salary in Quang Ninh province from 2026 is regulated as follows:
- For communes and wards in region I, the minimum wage in region 1 is 5,310,000 VND/month.
- For communes and wards in region II, the minimum wage in region 2 is 4,730,000 VND/month.
- For communes and wards in region III, the minimum wage in region 3 is 4. 140,000 VND/month.
- For communes and wards in region IV, the minimum wage in region 4 is 3,700,000 VND/month.
(2) The hourly minimum wage in Quang Ninh province from 2026 stipulates:
The hourly minimum wage for communes and wards in Quang Ninh province from 2026 in region I is 25,500 VND/hour.
The hourly minimum wage of communes and wards in Quang Ninh province from 2026 belonging to Region II is 22,700 VND/hour.
The hourly minimum wage for communes and wards in Quang Ninh province from 2026 in region III is 20,000 VND/hour.
The hourly minimum wage of communes and wards in Quang Ninh province from 2026 belonging to Region IV is 17,800 VND/hour.
