On December 30, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Dinh Dinh province said that it had reported to the Department of Labor Relations and Wages (Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs) on the situation of wages and bonuses of enterprises in the province.
To date, 113 businesses have officially submitted reports on the labor situation, wages and bonuses. These businesses have also not allowed the situation of unpaid wages to occur.
Among them, there are 7 One-Member LLCs with 100% of charter capital held by the State; 4 companies with controlling shares and capital contributions by the State; 87 private enterprises and 15 FDI enterprises (with foreign investment capital).
For the state-owned enterprise sector, the average salary paid to employees in 2024 is more than 10.7 million VND/person/month, an increase of 6.65% compared to 2023. Enterprises in this group implement salaries in accordance with labor agreements and have plans to give bonuses for the Lunar New Year and Solar New Year. In particular, the highest Lunar New Year bonus in this sector is 42 million VND, the lowest is 500,000 VND.
For enterprises with State-controlled shares and capital contributions, the average salary paid to employees in 2024 will be more than 10.2 million VND/person/month, an increase of 6.55% compared to 2023. Enterprises in this group have done a good job of paying salaries on time and planning bonuses for the Lunar New Year and Solar New Year. The highest Lunar New Year bonus is 15 million VND.
For private enterprises, the average salary in 2024 paid to employees is more than 7.6 million VND/person/month, an increase of 2.84% compared to 2023.
However, there are 9 enterprises that have not yet planned to give New Year bonuses. The highest New Year bonus in this group is 60 million VND (at Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company) and the lowest is 50,000 VND.
Regarding Lunar New Year bonuses, the highest bonus is 122,784 million VND (at Mai Tin Binh Dinh Company Limited), the lowest is 200,000 VND.
For FDI enterprises, the average salary in 2024 paid to employees is more than 8 million VND/person/month, down 5.18% compared to 2023.
Of these, 10 businesses have not yet planned to give a New Year's bonus. The highest recorded New Year's bonus is 45.5 million VND (CP VN-NM TAGS Binh Dinh Livestock Joint Stock Company), the lowest is 100,000 VND.
Regarding Lunar New Year bonuses, there are 4 enterprises that have not planned to give bonuses. The highest Lunar New Year bonus is 85 million VND (ANT Company Limited (MV)), the lowest is 300,000 VND.
According to the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Dinh province, the number of enterprises submitting reports is still not large, not fully reflecting the actual salary situation in 2024 and the Lunar New Year bonus plan at enterprises.
Many businesses have reported incompletely and inaccurately the situation of salaries and bonuses at the unit. In addition, many businesses have plans to give Tet bonuses to employees but do not want to announce them early or avoid reporting to the management agency.
