All courts are equipped with standard lighting systems, allowing players to participate in the evening without obstacles. Under the direction of the Vietsovpetro Trade Union, the construction and use of Pickleball courts is not only a part of the sports development plan but also an activity demonstrating the care for the spiritual life of workers at the unit as well as people living in the city. This particular attention comes from the practical needs of union members and workers, while meeting the healthy trend that many people are following.
The Trade Union has actively directed and supported from the stage of planning, selecting design options, investors, supervising the process of building facilities to organizing exchange programs, and competitions to motivate cadres, workers, and laborers to participate.
At the Pickleball Tournament of the event "Vietsovpetro Youth Sports Festival" on March 15, held right after the opening ceremony of the courts, many union members, workers and spectators attended the competition and cheering.
It is expected that in the coming time, many internal Pickleball tournaments will be organized, creating a healthy playground for officers, workers and laborers in the unit. The development of Pickleball at the Vietsovpetro Cultural and Sports Center is an important step in improving the spiritual life of staff and workers.
According to union members and workers present at the opening ceremony, Pickleball is both easy to play and fun, and does not require too much physical strength, very suitable for many workers, now playing in the unit, during recess, so it helps them have more conditions to exercise. Many people also consider this an ideal sport for those who want to exercise without too much effort and expressed their gratitude to the Trade Union organization for creating a true playground for workers.
